Marjorie W. Wood

Marjorie W. Wood, 65, of Judson Avenue, Woodbury, wife of William J. Wood, died October 24 at Danbury Hospital. She was the mother of Maegan Anne Wood of Newtown.

Mrs Wood was born May 12, 1934, in Stamford, daughter of the late Charles E. and Ruth E. (Robinson) Weber. Mrs Wood was formerly of Vermont, Florida, and Darien, and moved to Woodbury two years ago. In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by a son, William Charles Wood of Bennington, Vt.; a brother, Charles Weber of Bridgeport; three sisters, Ruth Byrnes of Bridgeport, Carolyn Marsh and Centa Improta, both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass was held October 27 at St Teresa Church, Main Street South, Woodbury. Burial was private.

The Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, Main Street South, was in charge of arrangements.
