Sharing Thoughts

To the Editor:

We wanted to thank the Newtown residents who took time from their busy schedules to share their thoughts with us. We understand that this process was far from scientific. However, there really is nothing scientific or more democratic about direct feedback from town residents.

Our goal was to learn and to try something different to hear more feedback from a wider variety of townspeople. Although the budget has since passed, we feel your input is invaluable, and we have learned a great deal. Please feel free to communicate with us in the future on any issues you feel are important to you.
