Irene Karzenski, 90, of Tiverton, R.I., died April 12. Born in Queens, N.Y., she lived most of her adult life in Bridgeport.

She was married to the late Edward F. Karzenski, and is survived by her daughter Susan Hildred, and her husband Allan, of Newtown, and her son Wayne Karzenski, and his wife Pamela Begg, of Tiverton. She was the proud grandmother of Allison Karzenski and Katherine Karzenski. Her brother, Edward Buck of Glen Head, N.Y., also survives Mrs Karzenski.

Mrs Karzenski had a career as a commercial loan officer at City Trust Bank in Bridgeport, working from the 1960s to her retirement.

She enjoyed fishing and boating with her husband, and in later years, caring for her granddaughters. She was an active member of the Tiverton Senior Center and its Knitters and Quilters group.

Arrangements will be private.
