Joseph Brocco of Newtown died March 4 at Danbury Hospital. Giuseppe "Joseph" Brocco was born in Minturno, Italy, to Maria Signore and Giovanni Brocco, one of three brothers, along with Frank and Gino, and four sisters, Maria, Giussepina, Lina, and Lisa.

He proudly immigrated to the United States in 1955.

Mr Brocco was the operator of Yankee TV in Sandy Hook for more than 20 years, until retirement.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and often spent his time rescuing cats and other small animals.

Mr Brocco leaves behind a much-loved family of three children, Natalena, John, and Mary, and their mother, Maria. Six grandchildren, Johnny, David, Angelina, Jennifer, Gina, and Luciano, also survive him.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, March 12, at 11 am, in the D Wing of Walnut Hill Community Church, 56 Walnut Hill Road, Bethel.
