Careers Opportunities In Drinking Water
Farmington â The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) Drinking Water Section will host a free half-day forum to increase awareness about career opportunities in the drinking water field for students, teachers, guidance counselors, and other school officials. The âCareers in Drinking Waterâ forum will take place Wednesday, April 23, from 8:30 am to 12:45 pm, at The Farmington Club.
The forum will emphasize the need for increased education directed toward career building within the water industry. The DPH Drinking Water Section is working to increase awareness of the impending shortage of drinking water industry workers and promote career building within the water industry.
High school principals, guidance counselors, and students across Connecticut have been invited to attend this event. Those wishing to attend must register by April 16 through TRAIN Connecticut at ct.train.org/DesktopShell.aspx. Registration is free and the program includes lunch.
