William A. “Bill” Kennedy, 93, of Brooksville, Fla., died January 16, at Hospice Care. He was born April 27, 1922, in the Bronx, but his family had summer homes in the Forest Drive area of Sandy Hook, since the 1920s.

Mr Kennedy served in the Army in World War II.

His daughters Diane Kennedy Roth of Sandy Hook and Lauren Kennedy of Georgia; and his son Larry Kennedy of Bushnell, Fla. survive Mr Kennedy. His wife of 70 years, Violet Marie Kennedy, predeceased him.

A military funeral will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla., Monday, January 25.
