Louise Alice Del Vento
Louise Alice Del Vento, 97, a 57-year resident of Easton, the beloved wife of the late Stephen A. Del Vento, died December 28 in her home, with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport, February 3, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Gaylord) and Frederick J. Chapman.
Four sons and their wives, Robert and Jeannette of Newtown, Stephen and Arlene of Milford, Vito and Marie of Easton, and Russell and Elaine of Easton; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; loving sisters Evelyn Wright, Jacqueline Blanchard, and Virginia Clark and her husband, Leigh; brother Frederick J. Chapman; sister-in-law Sarah Del Vento; and several nieces and nephews survive Mrs Del Vento. Her daughter, Theresa A. Polifka, and several other relatives predeceased her.
Mrs Del Vento was the past vice president of Henderson Trumbull Supply Company, Del Vento, Inc, and City Cement Block Company, was president of the Easton Women's Republican Club, and member of the Easton Homemakers Club. She loved all animals, and was an avid bird watcher. She loved her family deeply.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 4, at 10 am, at Notre Dame Church, 640 Morehouse Road, Easton. Interment will follow in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
