Beverly Broderick

Beverly Broderick, 70, of Fairfield, the beloved wife of the late Gerald R. Broderick, died peacefully at home November 19, with her family by her side. She was born in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Genevieve and Elbert Hanks.

Her devoted daughter, Deborah L. Chamberlain of Newtown; her loving sons Gerald J. Broderick, and his wife Susan, of Trumbull and Glenn M. Broderick, and his fiancée Edith Smith, of Liberty, N.C.; five grandchildren, Jennifer and Valerie Chamberlain, and John, Kellie, and Ava Broderick; two great-granddaughters; her sisters, Gloria Reisinger, and her husband Ed, of Fairfield, and Mary Lou Fuller of Cheshire; many special nieces and nephews; and her best friend and sister-in-law, Eloise Magnani, survive Mrs Broderick.

Her greatest joy in life was raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. She had an eclectic personality and wicked sense of humor. She was always the life of the party and could easily fill the room with laughter, dancing, and good times. She also had many fond memories of trips to the casinos with family members and friends. Ms Broderick’s friendly and engaging personality will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends.

A graveside service took place November 23, at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield.
