Jo Ann (Main) Frazier of Sandy Hook died August 16 at the home of her sister, Maeola Cadwell, in Missouri. She was born June 13, 1936, in Bucklin, Mo., the daughter of Cecil and Annabel McMillian Main, and graduated from New Cambria (Mo.) High School.

She was united in marriage to Donald F. Frazier June 1956. Mrs Frazier was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother to three children, Charlene, Charles, and Rebecca.

She was a wonderful woman who spent her life taking care of others; she had a big heart and was loved by many. She loved her family and was extremely proud of her grandchildren and their children.

For more than two decades, she could be found at Beacon Hill Church in Monroe, watching little ones in the child care center during services.

She was a talented gardener with a magical green thumb, capable of rescuing plants and bringing them back to life and enjoyed watching them flourish. She was also known for her delicious cookies; she would send care packages to family and friends often.

Mrs Frazier was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 1003 in Jefferson City, Mo.

Her two daughters, Charlene Sue Gagliardi of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Rebecca Ann Kowalski, and her husband Stephen, of Sandy Hook; four sisters; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter survive her. Her parents, husband Donald, son Charles Frazier, grandson Chase Kowalski, and great-grandson Leo Goldie predeceased her.

She will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Mrs Frazier's memory to The Chase Michael-Anthony Kowalski Sandy Hook Memorial Foundation, 471 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe CT 06468 or cmakfoundation.org.

Arrangements are under the direction of Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline, Mo.
