Beatrice Eula Kennedy

Beatrice Eula Kennedy, 80, of Yellville, Ark., formerly of Shelton and Bethany, died on March 5.

She was the devoted wife of Theodore R. Kennedy, who was a master mechanic at Sikorsky Aircraft, and the beloved mother of Theodore Joseph Kennedy of Sandy Hook, John Kennedy of Georgetown, Susan Staff of Norwalk, and Dawn Perry of Yellville, Ark.; loving grandmother of Pamela Rossman, Gregory Shrifer, Michael and Kristine Staff; and great-grandmother of Brooklyn Shrifer. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Frank Eula; and two sisters, Madeline Ruta and Amelia Werner.

She was born in Norwalk on March 2, 1925, daughter of the late John and Adele Lubrano Eula. Mrs Kennedy was a commercial artist for many years at CR Gibson Co. in Norwalk. While living in Shelton, she was very active in making arts and crafts for St Joseph Church. After moving to Bethany, she became a member of the Bethany Senior Citizen Center.

A private graveside service will be held in Riverside Cemetery in Shelton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society, Fairfield County Chapter, 25 Third Street, 4th Floor, Stamford CT 06905.

The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton is entrusted with arrangements.
