Angela Marie “Tootsie” Calandro, 71, of Bridgeport, died September 14, at Regional Hospice Care in Danbury. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, she was born February 15, 1944, and was a daughter of the late Rocco and Lucy Intagliato Calabrese.

She was a devoted mother. Her grateful son, Dan Calandro and his wife, Charlene, of Sandy Hook; two granddaughters, Jenna Marie and Jamie Lynn Calandro; and her two brothers, Robert and Raymond Calabrese, and their wives Shirley and Melonie, all of California, survive Ms Calandro.

She earned an associate’s degree in Secretarial Studies from the University of Bridgeport, and retired as an administrative assistant from Aquarion Water Co. with over 15 years of dedicated service.

She enjoyed playing cards with friends, vacationing in Las Vegas, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

All funeral services were held in private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull.
