Elizabeth “Bet” Kalmbacher Orr, 95, a longtime resident of Roxbury, died peacefully September 18, at Bethel Health Care Center. She was born March 1, 1920, in Newtown, to Florence Page and Albert Joseph Kalmbacher.

Her son Clark Francis Dyer and his wife, Maryellen, of Tucson, Ariz.; her sisters Audrey McDonald of Peyton, Colo., and Ann Salvia of Monroe; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families survive Mrs Orr. Her husband, Frederick Orr; and her sister, Dorothy Christian predeceased her. 

Mrs Orr’s kind and loving spirit will be truly missed by all who knew her. 

Graveside services will be Saturday, September 26, at 11 am, at the Roxbury Center Cemetery.
