Perspectives On Lyme Disease
HARTFORD â The state Department of Public Health and the state Attorney Generalâs office will hold a hearing regarding Lyme Disease in Room 2E of the Legislative Office Building on January 29, at 8:30 am.
The intent of the hearing is to promote dialogue among participants and provide a forum for the exchange of Lyme disease information as presented from the perspective of patients, health care providers, scientists, and government officials.
Commissioner J. Robert Galvin, MD, MPH will make welcoming remarks from the state Department of Public Health.
There will also be an introduction by state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal.
Panels composed of patients, physicians, and government officials will be featured.
