Carol D. “Debbie” Henderson, 84, a resident of Maplewood at Newtown and a former longtime Bridgeport resident, died July 4. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles H. and Genevieve Whelan Henderson.

Ms Henderson retired as an executive secretary for Sikorsky Aircraft.

Survivors include several devoted first and second cousins.

Funeral services will take place Friday, July 17, at 10 am, in St Andrew Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours.
