Norma Stern, 95, of Sandy Hook died December 16, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Sadie and Hyman Eichenblat.

Her devoted daughter, Hollis Garkofsky, and her husband, Seth; her adored granddaughter, Shayna Garkofsky; and her cherished niece and nephew survive her. Her beloved husband, Alvin Stern, predeceased her in in 2006. She was also predeceased by her sister Marion Lichter and brothers Maurice Eichenblat and Arnold Eichenblat.

The family would like to thank the medical and nursing staff of Bridgeport Hospital's Emergency Room and East Tower 8 for their exemplary care and support.

Services took place on at noon on December 19, at Loyalty Cemetery, Burroughs Road, Fairfield.
