Bernice A. Griffin, 67, of Orange died peacefully June 29. Born August 30, 1947, in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Stella (Hanzlik) and Stanley Robinson.

Her son Robert Griffin, and his wife Amy, of Newtown; her son Thomas Cantillo of Orange; her daughter-in-law Marie Tamburro Cantillo; her son Stephen Cantillo and his wife, Lori, of Port Lucie, Fla.; her daughter Cindy Cantillo of Shelton; and grandchildren Matthew, Stephen, Tyler, Connor, and Madison survive Ms Griffin. Her sisters, Carol Velez and Jo-Anne Lang, and brother, Guy Robinson, preceded her in death.

Ms Griffin lived in Orange for 38 years, and had a passion for caring for animals.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 2, at 10:30 am in St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, where all are welcomed to celebrate her life.
