Felice “Felix” Talamo, 61, of Newtown died April 22, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband and best friend to Jeanne Talamo for 37 years. He was born August 6, 1953, and was the son of the late Maria and Giacomo Talamo.

He attended Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, and graduated from St John’s University.

He worked as a CFO for a great period of time, and later worked privately as a financial advisor for numerous organizations within the state.

Mr Talamo loved being outside working in his garden, and spending time with family.

The “love of his life,” Jeanne; loving children Elizabeth, Mary, Jacqueline, and James; his precious grandchildren Vincent and Raymond; devoted siblings Margaret, Marc, Paul, Laura, Annemarie, and Chris; and many nieces and nephews survive Mr Talamo. He also leaves behind extended family and many close friends.

The Talamo family would like to extend its love, thanks, and heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, techs, and staff on West Tower 7 at Bridgeport Hospital for all their love, graciousness, and impeccable care they gave to Mr Talamo.

“With broken hearts we will miss you dearly, but know you will be with us always. We love you, Felix.”

A Mass of Christian Burial took place April 27. Interment was at St John Cemetery in Monroe.
