Charles Scott Spath, Sr, 73, of Holmes Beach, Fla., died April 2. He was the husband of Jeanne Anne Kadric Spath of Trumbull. He was born November 1, 1941, in Bridgeport, Conn.

His loving wife; his children and their spouses, Charles S., Jr and Susan Spath of Newtown, Kristen A. and Brad Wise of Goffstown, N.H., Karin P. and Scott Hemenway of Hillsborough N.H., and Jason and Cara Spath of Southbury; and his devoted brother, Peter A. Spath, survive Mr Spath.

Affectionately known as “Papa,” he leaves behind 14 grandchildren, Bradford C. Wise, Joshua A. Wise, Samuel J. Wise, Charles S. Spath III, Stephanie F. Spath, Justin D. Spath, Jeremy M. Spath, Nicole J. Hemenway, Hannah E. Hemenway, Zoe M. Hemenway, Brady T. Hemenway, Jason T. Spath, Jr, Ryan J. Spath, and Emmie R. Spath; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private, for the family.
