Ronald "Ronnie" Henry Jones, Jr, 53, of Oxford, died April 6. He was born on October 24, 1963, in Bronxville, N.Y., raised in Sandy Hook, and was a longtime resident of Oxford.

His two loving children, Lauren and R.J. Jones of Oxford; their mother, Kathleen (Roman) Jones of Oxford;  his loving dog; and many additional family members survive him.

Mr Jones was a skilled carpenter, spending a good majority of his life doing detailed stair railings. He was an avid car fanatic, dedicating many years of his life to racing at Lebanon Valley Dragway and then teaching his children how to race. He always knew how to fix things and would not give up until he found a solution. Mr Jones was a loyal friend, always willing to help those in need, often putting them before himself.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 11, from 4 to 7 pm, at the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 12, directly at noon in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Oxford.
