Sharon Everett
Sharon Ann Everett, 75, former longtime resident of Sandy Hook, died peacefully June 7, surrounded by her family. She was born April 5, 1942, in Detroit, daughter of the late Anna Egri Everett and Norman G Everett
Ms EverettÃÂ received her degree and license as a registered nurse in 1989 and enjoyed her nursing career for more than 20 years. She worked mostly in labor and delivery at Danbury Hospital.
She loved science, travel, gardening, and babies. She also enjoyed the challenges of motherhood, her nursing career, and the companionship of her wonderful friends.
Her children, Joseph F. Benney; Michael G. Benney; Yvonne M. Benney Basque and husband Ronald; Jennifer M. Benney and husband David Baronavski; Pauline M Benney; and Dr Tabitha M. Benney and husband James Mathews; and her grandchildren, Shannon M. Benney. Thomas J Benney, and Adelaide M. Mathews, survive her. She will be missed greatly by her beloved dachshund, her faithful companion.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
