Kathleen S. Wade, 57, of Newtown died at Danbury Hospital December 5, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Danbury, August 4, 1957, and was the daughter of the late Burton and Jane Covill Corbett.

She was the mother of Richard Hancock of Newtown. She also leaves behind her three brothers.

Ms Wade was a beloved mother and friend, who will be missed by those who knew her.

Friends and family may visit Tuesday, December 16, from 5 to 7 pm, in the chapel of All State Cremation & Funeral Care, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden. Burial will be private.

Donations may be made to the family through the funeral director.
