Victoria S. "Vicki" Saxton, 64, of Dover, N.H., died July 7 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born October 30, 1952, in Sandy Hook, she was the daughter of the late Genevieve (Adomaitis) and Boyd Saxton.taskerfh.com.

Her brother, Boyd Saxton, Jr, and wife Alice, of Sandy Hook; her sister, Letha Travis, and husband Steve, of Nottingham, N.H.; her "sunshine" and caregiver, Michelle Fortier of Dover; and several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear extended family survive her. She also leaves behind her beloved Maine Coon cat, whom she was happily able to snuggle one last time, and two other cats.

Her sister Martha Fortier predeceased her.

Ms Saxton had previously worked as an accounting clerk with Forecast International in Newtown. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She loved to make people laugh. Ms Saxton's smile and compassion touched so many. She loved to read, play word games, and loved nature and the woods. She always looked forward to her annual fall trip with her niece up north to Jackson and Conway to enjoy the leaves. A stop at White Lake State Park was always a must.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Sunday, July 23, 3 pm, at the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Andrew Jarvis Drive, Portsmouth, N.H. Join for Ms Saxton's favorite: cookies!
