Dorothy Kanuck Hydeck, 86, of Trumbull, died August 22 in her home. She was born in Bridgeport, and was a longtime Trumbull resident.

Survivors include her five children, Mark and Cathy Hydeck of Newtown, Lynn and David Pangburn of Oxford, Ronald and Michelle Hydeck of Milford, Michael Hydeck and Patricia Bocian of Stamford, and Robert Hydeck and Heather Bryant of Trumbull; 12 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Michael E. Hydeck, predeceased Mrs Hydeck.

She was the bookkeeper for her late husband’s business, Hydeck’s Hardware. She was also a nurse’s aide at St Joseph’s Manor for 13 years.

Mrs Hydeck enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Valley Squares Square Dance Club.

Friends may greet the family, Thursday, August 28, from 4 to 7 pm, at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service there at 7 pm. Interment will be private.
