Stephen John Dawson, 56, of Stormville, N.Y., died August 22. He was born in Flushing, N.Y., December 18, 1957, to Geraldine (Rehmann) and John W. Dawson.

On May 1, 1983, he married the love of his life, Lisa (DeSimone) in Fishkill, N.Y.

He graduated from Kings College in Wilkes Barre, Penn., as a double major in English and Journalism, in 1980. He worked for the Newtown Public School System for 18 years, as an IT technician.

His loving wife and his mother survive Mr Dawson. His father predeceased him. He will be missed by many friends and colleagues.

A memorial service and celebration of his life will take place Thursday, August 28, from 4 to 6:30 pm, at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Road, Bethel.
