William Edward Roesch
William Edward Roesch, 72, died peacefully August 9 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He was born in Bridgeport, the son of Rose and William Roesch.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Carol; stepchildren, Kerry Leko of Newtown and Dr J. Leko of Huntsville, Ala.; his sister Diane Roesch Dutchick of Newtown; his brother Robert Roesch of Bridgeport; his brother-in-law Dr George P. Dutchick; and his sister-in-law Julie Roesch.
After serving in the US Army, 82nd Airborne Division, for three years, he worked at Carpenter Steel, until his retirement in 1988.
Mr Roesch was a car and motorcycle enthusiast, an avid fisherman, and lover of life. He was a lifetime member of Pequonnock Yacht Club, serving as commodore from 1989 through 1991.
He will be remembered by all who knew him for his vitality, passion, and the enduring friendships he made throughout his life.
He was interred in the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Fla., with full military honors.
