Betty Ann Bedini, 78, of Nunnawauk Meadows, Newtown, died July 15 at Pope John Paul II Center, Danbury. She was the wife of Francis J. Bedini, Jr, for 54 years. She was born in Norwalk, July 20, 1935, and was a daughter of the late Mary (Eleck) and Thomas Lehotsky.

Mrs Bedini was a longtime resident of Norwalk. She had lived in Newtown since 1999 and was a communicant of St Rose of Lima Church.

In addition to her husband, a son, Francis J. Bedini III of Newtown; a daughter, Noreen Velez of Norwalk; a brother, Thomas Lehotsky of Bethel; and four grandchildren, Alec and Alexa Bedini, and Taylor and Noah Velez, survive Mrs Bedini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, Saturday, July 19, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield. There are no calling hours.
