Beverly A. Keeler

Beverly A. (Lindquist) Keeler, 72, of Danbury died June 11 at Danbury Health Care Center, surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Norwalk, the daughter of Harriet Whiting and Foster Lindquist.

Her two children, William R. Keeler of Sandy Hook, and his wife Dawn, and Kimberly (Keeler) McCarthy of Boise, Idaho, and her husband, Alfred; four grandchildren; her brothers, Foster “Junior” Lindquist and Ronald Lindquist; her sister Madeline Curci; and several nieces and nephews survive Mrs Keeler. In addition to her parents, her husband, Bernard R. Keeler, Jr; her twin sister, Barbara (Lindquist) Clap; and her brother, Robert Lindquist, predeceased her.

Mrs Keeler was known for her gentle, kind spirit. Although battling various health issues for half her life, she could always be seen with a smile on her face, appreciating even the smallest things in life. Her favorite saying was, “Hugs don't cost a thing.” She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by the many who knew her.

Funeral services will take place in the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, Friday, June 20, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, June 19, from 5 to 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting teddy bears, so that the grandchildren can distribute them to nursing homes in the area.
