Walter Jelacic, 54, of Shelton died suddenly December 14, at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Jarosz Jelacic. Born in Bridgeport on June 3, 1963, he was a son of the late Stephen and Katherine Bobinac Jelacic.

In addition to his beloved wife of 30 years, Barbara; his cherished sons, Stephen C. Jelacic and his fiancé Brittany Stoner, Christopher A. Jelacic, and Jacob W. Jelacic, all of Shelton; his siblings and their spouses, Gloria and Gary Milas of Sandy Hook, Mary and Gary Miller of Stratford, and Peter and Ghislaine Jelacic of Croatia; as well as several nieces and nephews survive him.

Mr Jelacic had been employed by Sikorsky Aircraft as a helicopter mechanic with many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed Mustangs and photography and was extremely proud of the photos he had taken during the Vibes Music Festival. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and will be greatly missed by his Great Dane, Roxy.

Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, December 19, from 4 to 8 pm, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 20, at 10 am, in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
