All town offices and agencies will be closed Friday, March 30, for Good Friday.The Newtown Bee, at 5 Church Hill Road, will be open on Friday, March 30.

The transfer station on Ethan Allen Road will be closed on Friday, but will be open for regular operating hours (7 am to 3 pm) on Saturday, March 31.

C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, will be closed for Good Friday as well as on Sunday, April 16, in observance of Easter. It will be open from 9:30 am until 5 pm, its regular hours, on Saturday.

Newtown Senior Center will be closed on Friday.

Public schools will be closed on Friday.

Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) offices will be closed for the Good Friday holiday.  Offices will reopen on Saturday, March 31, at 8 am.
