Stanley M. Frystak, 84, of Sandy Hook died in his home April 4 after a lengthy illness. Born November 11, 1929, he was the youngest of ten children.

He was a Navy veteran and served in Korea and Italy. While in Italy he met Emilia, the love of his life. They were married for 50 years.

Mr Frystak was predeceased by his wife. His best friend, John Landolfi, and wife Yvonne, of Sandy Hook; two nephews and a niece; his godchildren; and his faithful dog survive Mr Frystak.

A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled in St Rose of Lima Church, Wednesday, April 9, at 11 am. Interment will be in St Rose Cemetery. Calling hours were scheduled at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Wednesday morning, from 10 to 10:45 am.
