Kenneth S. "Ken" Josselyn, 70, of New Milford died March 23. Born on January 12, 1948, he was the eldest son of Margaret "Peg" and Carlton "Kyper" Josselyn of Westport.

His siblings, Cynthia Landin of Newtown and Wayne Josselyn of Bridgeport; his daughters, Sarah Torregrossa of Coral Springs, Fla., and Jessica Josselyn of Pompano Beach, Fla.; his son-in-law, Adam Torregrossa; and his grandson, Joseph Torregrossa, survive him. He was devoted to his family, especially to his daughters and grandson.

Even in his early years, Mr Josselyn was a well-loved, fun, and easy-going guy. He graduated with honors from Staples High School in Westport and was best known for playing guitar in the popular local band The Reverbs. He went on to pursue a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting from Bates College (also his father's alma mater) and Northeastern University, respectively. He later became a certified public accountant.

Mr Josselyn was a loyal employee during his 40-year-plus career. He put a significant amount of time into his work - especially during tax season - and his colleagues were considered family and friends. As a partner of Clavette Josselyn & Co. LLC in Newtown for more than 20 years, his friendship with Alan Clavette and other co-workers was an important part of his life.

Outside of work, Mr Josselyn enjoyed the simple life, but lived it well. He was a coin collector and amateur photographer, but spent most of his time researching and collecting guns. He would frequently go to Shooters Pistol Range, have what he called "coffee meetings" at Housatonic Valley Firearms, drink Budweiser and coffee with friends at his favorite local spots, and listen to classic rock - especially ZZ Top. He also enjoyed relaxing at home with his cat Bimmer while watching sports and crime shows. His loved ones say there are no words to describe how much Mr Josselyn will be missed.

His family asks keep his memory alive by sharing stories, laughs, and memories of him. A memorial page with information regarding the celebration his daughters are hosting in his honor may be found at glickfamilyfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr Josselyn's memory may be made to the National Stroke Association at stroke.org.
