Craig F. Avery, 70, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Antoinette (Toni) Amoroso Avery, died peacefully January 24 at St Vincent Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport December 16, 1943, he was a son of the late Raymond and Frances Southard Avery.

In addition to his beloved wife of 45 years, survivors include a sister, Cheryl Kellogg of Newtown, and a brother, Raymond A. Avery of Fairfield; a loving son, Keith Avery. and his wife Danielle, of Milford, and a daughter, Darlene Dennis, and her husband Buddy, of Georgia; three cherished grandchildren; one great-grandson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

Mr Avery was a retired CEO and president of Avery Abrasives. He was a baseball and football coach for many years in the greater Bridgeport area. However, he truly enjoyed watching his son play in his sporting games and coaching baseball. He was an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan, as well as an avid golfer. Above all, Mr Avery was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, January 28, at 10 am, in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11 am, in St Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, January 26, from 3 to 8 pm.
