Tyler Hoffman
Tyler Alden Hoffman, 24, of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly April 28. He was born in Danbury on March 11, 1994, and was a son of Theodore Hoffman of Woodbury and Catherine Kean of Sandy Hook.
Mr Hoffman was a graduate of Newtown High School and was employed as a mechanic for Brookside Auto Salvage of Waterbury. He was a member of Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue and was an apprentice Free Mason.
In addition to his parents, a brother, Michael Morrison of Plainville; his paternal grandmother, Nancy Coles of Woodbury; his aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins survive him.
Friends may call Thursday, May 3, from 4 to 8 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 4, at 10:30 am, in St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road. Interment will follow in St Rose Cemetery.
