Dolores M. Wood, 66, of Newtown, died at her home, August 17. She was born September 1, 1946, in Bridgeport, and was the daughter of the late Madeline (Fritz) and Joseph Moll.

Ms Wood loved her children and grandchildren. She found pleasure in cooking and reading. She enjoyed life, learning, and sharing in new experiences.

She will be missed by her two daughters, Michele DeVoe-Murphy, and her husband Bill, and Annette DeVoe, and her husband Norman; her son, Matthew DeVoe, and his wife Donna; her brother, Joseph Moll, and his wife Sandy; and nine grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Thursday, August 22, at St Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Road, Danbury. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull. The family will receive friends between the hours of 5 and 7 pm, Wednesday, August 21, at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury.
