College Safety

DANBURY –– The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury, Inc, is sponsoring a free workshop, “College Safety,” from 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, August 8, and at 10 am on Tuesday, August 13, at the center at 2 West Street. Call 731-5200 to register.

The program is for college freshmen and high school senior girls and their parents. Topics to be presented include basic safety tips, risk reduction, date rape drugs, self-defense, and important questions to ask colleges.
