Marilyn (Fichera) Szabo, 77, of Trumbull, died June 13, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bridgeport to her beloved parents, Mary and Salvatore Fichera, and was a longtime Trumbull resident.

Her beloved husband of 55 years, George V. Szabo; her son George Szabo, and his wife Katy, of Newtown; her daughters Jackie Szabo, Laura Szabo, and Mickie Szabo, all of Trumbull; her grandson, Joe; and her two beloved cats survive Mrs Szabo. Her parents predeceased her.

Mrs Szabo was a lively, mischievous, extremely friendly woman who loved and was loved by many friends and family.

Friends and family are invited to attend her services Tuesday, June 18, at 9 am, directly at St Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. At the request of the family a wake will not be held. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
