Terri Lynn Kamas
Terri Lynn Kamas, of Freeport, Maine, died peacefully at home, June 13. She was born January 1, 1952, in Newtown, to Shirley R. and William A. Kamas.
She was raised in Newtown and attended Newtown High School. After high school, she worked at various businesses in Newtown. She was employed for many years at Grand Union.
In 1998, she fulfilled a dream to live in a warm climate on the beach, and moved to Clearwater, Fla. Due to health problems, she later moved to Freeport, to live with her sister. There she was employed at the Hilton Gardens, until illness forced her to leave.
Ms Kamas was an avid reader, enjoyed walking, going out to dine, and taking minitrips around New England and eastern Canada.
Survivors include her brother Jon, of Aurora, Colo., and her sister, Holly Pastore of Freeport. Her parents and a brother, Ted, predeceased Ms Kamas.
Those who knew her well will remember her with a smile in their hearts.
