Albert A. Kopf, 89, of Newtown, and formerly a longtime resident of Norwalk, died peacefully at home May 17, surrounded by his adoring family. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., September 5, 1925, and was the son of the late Emma (Bauer) Kopf and Frederick Kopf.

Cooking and reading and listening to music were among his favorite pastimes. “Our Hero” was a patient and kind man, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
