Newtown Youth & Family Services is expanding the availability of its Job Bank.

The NYFS Job Bank is now available to the entire Newtown and Sandy Hook community. The job bank consists of local young adults, ages 13-17, who have gone through the process of completing an application, interview, and short training, and are ready and willing to work. 

Among the jobs that teens have been available for in the past have been mother’s helper/babysitter, help with housework, yard work, organizing, filing, and moving. Additional options are available.

Residents who are looking for help around their home or local office are invited to contact NYFS to make a job bank request. Contact Jennifer Brainard at 203-426-8103 or jbrainard@newtownyouthandfamilyservices.org to make a request, or for additional information.

Openings are also available for those ages of 13-17 are interested in becoming a member of the job bank. Contact Ms Brainard for details on the application process.
