To the Editor:

On behalf of SHOP, I would like to extend a personal invitation to our community to attend Rocking the Hook — 2019 Sandy Hook Village Free Concert. The concert will be held rain or shine on Sunday, May 19, from noon until 7 pm, at the Sandy Hook Village Green (behind Village Perk Cafe).

We hope you’ll come down by the river and spend the afternoon enjoying the music of three well-known local bands: The Traveling Danburys, Unclaimed Baggage, and Cheap Thrill, as well as a short performance by the Jockey Hollow Singers.

Come stroll through the village, stop at our shops, grab something to eat, or bring your picnic basket. Foundry Kitchen will be cooking up something on their outdoor grills during the concert.
