Newtown MediSpa opened its doors to a newly expanded space, Tuesday, January 6. Located just two doors down from the original office, also at 123 South Main Street, the two-year-old business is now found in Suite 110B.

“We were just tripping over each other in our old space,” said owner Debra Sullivan, PA, who partners with Dr David Hendricks, medical director, at MediSpa. Word of mouth and excellent online reviews of services had created a demand that could only be accommodated by moving to larger quarters, she said.

By more than doubling the size of the office, MediSpa is now able to build on the laser and injection services, and other medical treatments geared toward anti-aging, health, and skin care, for which the spa has received rave reviews, said Ms Sullivan.

Previously offered on a limited basis, the larger spa is able to regularly provide IV treatments for sport rehydration, chronic fatigue, energy loss, cold and flu recovery, anti-aging, and even hangovers.

B12 shots are offered to increase energy levels. MediSpa oversees the HCG diet for patients, a medically controlled diet for rapid weight loss coupled with nutritional counseling and a fitness plan. Meso therapy — spot fat reduction via injection for small areas — and sclero therapy to treat spider veins are now among the new services available at MediSpa.

Staff is excited to provide expanded spa services in the new suite. Massage, facials, body scrubs, and scalp and back “facials” are on the menu at MediSpa, using only medical-grade products for any procedure.

The newly expanded MediSpa includes a steam shower, or clients can wind down in the relaxation suite, before or after treatments, enjoying aromatherapy or sipping healthy teas. Providing a serene environment for clients is an important part of care at MediSpa, said Ms Sullivan.

Newtown MediSpa continues to offer a full line of skin care products and other items for a healthy lifestyle.

Joining Dr Hendricks and Ms Sullivan in providing services at Newtown MediSpa is RN Tanya Bartlett; LPN Krystal Lennon; esthetician Joyce Baum; massage therapists Kristy Cruz and Leighann White; reiki therapist Liz Sorrentino; emotional freedom technique practitioner Victoria Cryder; practice manager Patty Sullivan; and receptionist Valerie Hart.
