Boy Scout Troop 770 will be conducting its annual Christmas wreath sale Thanksgiving weekend. Scouts will sell wreaths to the public at Holy Cow Ice Cream Shop, 51 Church Hill Road, on Saturday, November 29, 10:30 am to 3 pm, and then at St Rose Church, 46 Church Hill Road, on Sunday, November 30, from 7:30 am to 1 pm.

The wreaths are 12-inch fresh balsam fir with a festive bow and cost $15 each. Wreaths may also be ordered by contacting Chris Davis at newtowntroop770@gmail.com or 203-426-8639.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit Boy Scout Troop 770 and help underwrite scout programs and activities like community service projects, monthly campouts, leadership training, and troop supplies and equipment. Troop 770 is chartered by St Rose of Lima Church but is open to all boys, ages 11-17.

Scouting makes a direct and positive impact on boys and their entire community by teaching positive values and leadership skills to youth. For more than a century, Boy Scouts has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun adventures.

Boy Scout Eddie Godino, a members of Newtown Troop 770, will be conducting a sock drive on November 22.
