Monroe RTC Planning Candidates Meet And Greet Event, Saturday At Wheeler Library
MONROE — The Monroe Republican Town Committee will host a “Meet and Greet the Republican Candidates” event on Saturday, October 27, from 1 to 3 pm. The event will take place in the Ehlers Room of Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, 733 Monroe Turnpike (Route 111) in Monroe.
The event is free and open to the public.
All are invited to meet the candidates and discuss the issues that concern them.
The public will have the opportunity to meet Harry Arora, candidate for US Congress House of Representatives, 4th Congressional District; Rich Deecken, candidate for State Senate, 22nd District; T.R. Rowe, incumbent candidate for Probate Judge representing Monroe, Trumbull, and Easton; and J.P. Sredzinski, incumbent candidate for State Representative, 112th General Assembly District.
Also attending will be Monroe First Selectman Ken Kellogg.

Friday Fundraiser Planned
The Monroe RTC is also planning a beer and wine tasting fundraiser, scheduled for Friday, November 2.
The event will be from 7 to 9 pm at Monroe Republican headquarters, within Century Plaza (with Big Y), 535 Monroe Turnpike (Route 111).
Tickets are $30 per person, and attendees must be at least 21 years of age.
