Jason W. Hurley, 45, of Ashford, formerly of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly August 30, at Hartford Hospital. He was born June 1, 1972, in Bridgeport, son of Linda (Hite) Hurley and William (June) Hurley, both of Sandy Hook.

He worked as a caregiver/companion for The Supported Living Group.

In addition to his mother and father, his son, Juston Hurley of Maine; brother, Bruce Gowans and wife Barbara of West Virginia; sister, Krista Hurley Danko; a nephew; his girlfriend, Heather Morrison; and his stepchildren, Dominic, Hunter, and Alyana survive him.

A celebration of Mr Hurley's life will be conducted at a date and time to be announced.
