Summer Camps & Activities 2018: Fairfield Museum's Summer Camp Registration Now Open
The Fairfield Museum and History Center will be offering more than half-a-dozen different summer camp options for children ages 5 through 14 who are interested in learning about art, history, and culture.To register and learn more about Fairfield Museum and History Center, visit fairfieldhistory.org or call 203-259-1598.
According to the Fairfield Museum website, the programs will have a variety of interactive activities to "inspire young people to discover the world around them, bringing art and history to life."
The weeklong camp sessions will begin on June 25 and will end on August 24.
Sessions include camps like Busy Builders, for ages 5 through 7, who will be creating different structure projects and learning about buildings; Graphic Arts: My Fascinating World, for ages 8 through 12, for those that want to create their own graphic novel; History by Hand, for ages 7 through 11, where campers will learn how to sew and make different creations; and Colonial Life Camp at the 1750 Ogden House, for ages 8 through 12, to help campers discover what life was like in colonial times by visiting historical buildings.
Camp policies on the Fairfield Museum website say that "campers should bring a peanut-free snack for half-day programs and a peanut-free snack [plus] lunch for full-day programs."
As of February 9, camp registration is open to the public.
