Ricci's Salon & Spa will hold a Cut-a-Thon on Sunday, May 15, from 10 am to 4 pm.

This will be is a fundraiser for a 22 year-old Army Ranger from West Haven, who has returned from Afghanistan with life-altering injuries.

SPC Sean Pesce was shot 13 times, sustaining damage to several major organs, with one bullet severing his spine. He is now permanently paralyzed from the waist down.

Proceeds from the cut-a-thon will help build a custom house through Homes For Our Troops.

Homes For Our Troops is a national nonprofit which builds handicapped-accessible houses for young disabled military, at no cost to the soldier.

The Ricci's hairstylists are donating their time to help raise money for SPC Pesce's house to be built in West Haven.

Men's barber haircuts will be $20, women's haircut and blow-dry will be $25, and women who do not need a haircut but want to donate can get their hair blow-dried for $15
