New Date & Location For Bethel Book Sale

BETHEL — The Friends of Bethel Public Library will host their annual book sale on Saturday and Sunday, July 13-14. This year the event is moving to Bethel Municipal Center, on School Street (behind Bethel Library). The sale is also being held in July rather than the traditional September in anticipation of the library’s upcoming expansion.

Regular sale hours are 10 am to 4 pm both days, with no admission charged. Early buyers can enter the sale on Saturday at 8 am for a $10 admission. Books on a wide variety of subjects will be available, from mysteries, histories, cookbooks and kids’ books to science, science fiction, arts and crafts, and more. All paperbacks will be 50 cents each; hard cover books will be priced individually. On Sunday all items will be half price.

Books on tape, audio CDs, computer software, videos and other items will also be on sale.
