Finance Board Candidate

To the Editor:

I am honored to have been nominated by the Independent Party of Newtown as a candidate for Board of Finance. In my professional life, working for a large multinational corporation, I manage complex projects, and I am responsible for an annual budget of nearly $7 million. Thus I hope these experiences will serve me well if elected.

As a mother and a citizen of Newtown, I am concerned about rising taxes, the quality of our school system, and assuring we have a strategic plan that balances population growth and development while maintaining the unique character of Newtown.

I hope you will consider me when you cast your ballot.
