NEWTOWN NATIVE AND AUTHOR JEFF BELANGER will be in the area next weekend to celebrate the release of his third book, Encyclopedia of Haunted Places. The first directory with entries by dozens of the world’s leading paranormal investigators, the book offers hundreds of entries featuring research notes, location background, first-hand accounts and anomalous photos featuring ghostly manifestations. Mr Belanger, who calls himself “a voracious fan of the unexplained,” will be at an author’s program and book signing event at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Danbury on Sunday, October 16, at 3 pm.
