Republicans Seek Three Appointees

The Newtown Republican Town Committee (RTC) reports that there are openings for Republican appointees to the Inland Wetlands Commission, as well as a commissioner and alternate post on the Board of Ethics.

The inland wetlands panel meets twice a month and walks properties when required, typically during the day. The Board of Ethics does not meet regularly — only when an ethics issue needs to be addressed.
